Dr. John Olaniyi Bankole is currently the Medical Director/CEO of Mother and Child Hospital. He is a Consultant Surgeon and Sonologist. He holds a B.Sc. First Class Honour degree in Health Sciences and Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery degree (MB.Ch.B,) of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ife ( now Obafemi Awolowo University)

He attended the Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital for his residency training and he is a fellow of the West Africa College of Surgeons (1993).

He obtained a Certificate of the University of Washington in Leadership and Management in Health.

Dr Bankole has practices in Ultrasonography with special interest in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Abdominal, Breast, Thyroid and Urologic Scan.

He has served in various positions in the last 30 years including Consultant Surgeon and Medical Director at several prestigious Hospitals. He joined Mother & Child Hospital in 2007.
